Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Sydney

Sydney (Australia), May 22 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Sydney on May 22. He will be on a three-day visit to Australia. Notably, India signed a historic trade deal with Australia in 2022. During his visit, PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with Australian PM Albanese. PM Modi decided to proceed with his visit to Sydney after US Prez Biden pulled out from Quad Summit. Previously, Quad Summit was scheduled to take place in Australia. Quad Summit was cancelled and later held on the sidelines of G7 summit in Hiroshima. At their bilateral meeting, the leaders will discuss efforts to boost trade between the two countries. PM Modi will also meet Australian business leaders to drive investment relationships with India.
