Colombo (Sri Lanka) July 20 (ANI): Sri Lankan Parliament will elect a new President to replace Gotabaya Rajapaksa on July 20. The Parliament will choose between three candidates for the Presidential post, hoping that the new leader will pull the island country out of its worst economic and political crisis. Meanwhile, people of the country do not expect much from the development and claimed that the people who are being nominated are no different from the others. Speaking about the development, the citizens said, “We want to have joy again. The new President shouldn't take decisions just for his glory and work for nation’s betterment. Our concern is that those nominated are the same people, we don't expect much change.”
