President Kovind visits National Museum of History in Sofia

Sofia (Bulgaria), Sep 06 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind visited National Museum of History (NMH) in Bulgaria’s Sofia. He was accompanied by First Lady Savita Kovind. The National Museum of History was established on May 5, 1973. It is a national treasury of the Republic of Bulgaria, a reliquary store on a world scale and one of the largest historical museums on the Balkan Peninsula. The museum houses over 650,000 cultural monuments and a huge archeological and historical archive. The President is on a eight-day three-nation tour to Cyprus, Bulgaria and Czech Republic. On the last leg of the journey, President Kovind will visit the Czech Republic from September 6 to 9, where he will hold discussion on issues of mutual concern with Czech President Milos Zeman.
