Rawalakot, PoK, 01 March, 2022: - Scores of demonstrators, consisting primarily of residents of Chhota Gala in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, workers and former employees of the Poonch University are on an indefinite strike against the government. They shouted slogans against the local as well as the federal government for being apathetic towards the higher education of the students of the illegally occupied territory. The Chhota Gala campus of the Poonch University, whose construction began some 13 years ago was supposed to be completed in 2011. However, a corrupt administration coupled with the retiring intent of not getting things done in time for people of PoK hasn’t let the construction of the university move even an inch in the past many years.
