PM Modi meets Papua New Guinea Governor-General Sir Bob Dadae at Government House

Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea), May 22 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi started off his day in Papua New Guinea by meeting Governor General of Papua New Guinea Sir Bob Dadae at the historic Government House on May 22. PM Modi and Sir Bob Dadae had a warm conversation at the Government House. They underlined the significance of India-Papua New Guinea ties and development partnership between the two countries during the meeting. PM Modi also signed at the visitors’ book at the at the Government House. He arrived in Papua New Guinea on May 21 on the second leg of his three-nation visit. As PM Modi landed in Papua New Guinea on Sunday, PNG Prime Minister James Marape touched his feet and sought his blessings. During his Papua New Guinea visit, PM Modi is set to co-chair the 3rd Summit of the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC III Summit) on May 22, which will see participation from leaders of 14 countries. Notably, Narendra Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Papua New Guinea.
