PM Modi meets delegation of Kashmiri Pandits in Houston

Texas (USA), Sep 22 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with a delegation of Kashmiri Pandits in Houston on September 22. He also met them on this occasion. During the meeting, a member of delegation kissed PM Modi’s hands and said, “Thank you on behalf of seven lakh Kashmiri Pandits.” PM Narendra Modi also joined the delegation in reciting ‘Namaste Sharade Devi’ shloka. PM is scheduled to address the mega ‘Howdy Modi’ event on September 22 at the NRG Stadium which will also be attended by US President Donald Trump. A memorandum was also presented to PM by Kashmiri Pandits which says-“We request that a task force or advisory council from our community be established under MHA to bring together community leaders, subject matter experts and key stakeholders to help in development of plan to repatriate Kashmiri Pandits to the region. We look forward to working with GoI and newly constituted UTs to bring inclusive and sustainable development for benefit of all. We look forward to returning home in order to restore Kashmiri civilization’s core values of peace, pluralism, religious freedom.”
