PM Modi meets Argentinian President on sidelines of BRICS Summit

Johannesburg (South Africa), Jul 27 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President of Argentina Mauricio Macri on the sidelines of BRICS Summit. The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in trade and investment, agriculture and food processing and pharma. After his meeting with the Argentinian President, PM Modi held a bilateral meeting with President of Angola Joao Lourenco. Both dignitaries discussed upgrading ties in the areas of trade and investment, oil and natural gas, agriculture and food processing and pharmaceuticals. PM Modi addressed the 10th BRICS Summit before his meeting with the Argentinian President. In his address the PM referred to terrorism and extremism as the biggest threats. The theme of this year's summit is, 'BRICS in Africa - collaboration for inclusive growth and shared prosperity in the 4th industrial revolution'. The three-day summit began yesterday, with the BRICS Business Forum Meet.
