PM Modi donates 200 cows to Rwanda village

Kigali (Rwanda), Jul 24 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday donated 200 cows to villagers in Rweru Model Village in Rwanda under the Girinka programme. PM Modi donated cows in Rwanda to support President Kagame’s ambitious initiative for poverty reduction and tackling childhood malnutrition. Girinka programme was initiated by Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame in 2006 to provide one cow per poor family. PM Modi left is on his five-day, three-nation tour of Africa. He will also be visiting Uganda and South Africa.
