Xiamen (China), Sep 04 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, called BRICS countries to step up their economic cooperation and deepening the partnership between the countries. PM Modi was addressing the world leaders during the 9th BRICS Summit in Chinas Xiamen. Ministry of External Affairs Secretary (East) Preeti Saran said Prime Minister Narendra Modi pitched for setting up of a BRICS credit rating agency to counter western rating institutions and cater to the financial needs of sovereign and corporate entities of developing nations. She further added that PM Modi asserted that BRICS nations should develop the tourism between the nations.
