PM Modi, BIMSTEC leaders meet Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari

Kathmandu (Nepal), Aug 30 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on his two-day visit to Nepal to attend Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Summit, met Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari. BIMSTEC leaders including Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Nepal PM KP Oli were also present during the meeting. The theme of the summit is 'Towards a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable Bay of Bengal region'. The regional group of seven countries which lies near the Bay of Bengal- Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand- are participating in the summit.
