PM Modi arrives in Manila to attend ASEAN, East Asia Summit

Manila (Philippines), Nov 12 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday arrived on a three-day visit to attend ASEAN and East Asia Summit. This will be PM Modi’s first bilateral visit to Philippines. Prime Minister Modi’s visit will boost India-Philippines ties with new avenues of cooperation opening up in several fields including trade, defence and technology. On the sidelines of the main events, Prime Minister Modi is likely to have a series of bilateral meetings with a number of leaders including US President Donald Trump, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and others.
