Philippines island of Boracay shuts its borders for massive makeover

Boracay (Philippines), Apr 27 (ANI): One of the most famous vacation islands of Philippines, Boracay has closed its borders for next six months to rejuvenate the island. The Government began massive cleaning drive to restore the damage incurred to island by tourists. Business owners and workers are affected as the process will hit their earnings. However, Government has offered compensation to people affected by the shutdown.
