Las Vegas (USA) January 02 (ANI): Two ‘horrific’ incidents shook the US on the first day of the new year killing at least 10, many injured. At least 10 people were killed and 30 people sustained injuries after a truck rammed into a crowd in New Orleans. Later, a Tesla Cybertruck caught fire outside Trump’s LA Hotel killing one and injuring several others. Meanwhile, Tesla CEO Elon Musk claimed that both incidents might be ‘linked’ in some way. Musk also stated that vehicles involved in both incidents were rented from the same car rental site “Turo”. As per CNN, a suspect rammed into a crowd during New Year's celebrations with a Ford F-150 Lightning electric truck. Meanwhile, an explosion in Las Vegas killed one person and injured seven others according to a CNN report. Musk in his post on social media platform ‘X’, confirmed that the explosion was caused by fireworks or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck. Later, he also mocked the ‘evil knuckleheads’ that they chose the wrong vehicle for an alleged terrorist attack. He added that vehicle's design minimised the blast's impact, sparing the hotel from significant damage
