Gilgit Baltistan, 19 December, 2017: - People of Gilgit city hit the streets to show their anger against load shedding. They shouted slogans criticizing the local administration and the authorities sitting in Islamabad. Load-shedding and power breakdown are a routine and result in disruption in the smooth functioning of business, educational institutions and other government departments. Locals blame mismanagement and rampant corruption to be the root cause of power crisis in the region.
