Sharada Peeth is a ruined Hindu temple and ancient centre of learning located in the Neelum Valley of PoK. Now, Pakistan is damaging walls of cultural Heritage site 'Sharda Peeth' located in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. President of Dara Shikoh Foundation has written to DG of UNESCO demanding action against Pak Govt. Pakistan is deliberately damaging some walls of Sharda Peeth for expansion of a coffee house for soldiers inside PoK. Mohammad Amir Rashid also mentioned another temple in his letter to UNESCO which has been systemically damaged. He demanded that UNESCO should take action and take rehabilitation and conservation work into its hand. Sharada Peeth is situated in the valley of Mount Harmukh, believed by Kashmiri Pandits to be the abode of Shiva. Central Government has planned to open the ancient ‘Sharda Peeth’ Corridor for devotees. The new ‘Sharda Peeth’ Corridor will be based on the blueprint of Kartarpur Corridor in Punjab. Sharada Peeth is one of the 3 holiest sites of pilgrimage for Kashmiri Pandits, alongside Martand Sun Temple, Amarnath Temple.
