Bahawalpur (Pakistan), Jul 27 (ANI): As the results for the General Elections in Pakistan are eagerly awaited, allegations of rigging have come to surface. Locals of Bahawalpur on July 25 alleged that the results given to them are not as per the Form 45 format and alleged that this is absolute rigging. One of the residents said, "EC has given us results on plain paper, there is no official stamp on the declared result. There is no stamp on the paper. This is not how it is supposed to happen. This is an absolute rigging." The locals also said that this is not 'election' but a 'selection' done by the EC. The delay in the election results is itself creating suspicion over the 'free and fair elections' claims by the Election Commission. Two days back at least 22 people, including three policemen and two children, were killed in a suspected suicide attack, which took place outside a polling station near Eastern Bypass in Pakistan's Quetta. However, the EC refuted claims of any unfair practices in the election process.
