Washington, DC (US), Jul 03 (ANI): Voice of Karachi Chairman Nadeem Nusrat on Tuesday reacted on Pakistan elections and said that legitimate and popular political parties such as Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have been brutally dealt with by Pakistani military establishment. Extremist religious outfits are enjoying full official support to propagate their ideology of hatred throughout Pakistan. “It is evident that Pakistani army generals want to use the upcoming election to install in Pakistan a weak, puppet government that would be a rubberstamp for Pakistani military establishment, ISI in particular, which will further aggravate Pakistan’s problems and people of Pakistan will suffer even more.” said Nusrat. He added that electronic and print media are under strict undeclared censorship from Pakistani military establishment and is finding it hard to report facts. Social media, however, is full of firsthand accounts of reports suggesting how men in uniform are actively busy intimidating candidates belonging to parties that military establishment is not endorsing.
