New Delhi, Oct 14 (ANI): The second flight carrying 235 Indian nationals from Israel, arrived in Delhi on October 14. All those evacuated from the war-torn country were received at the airport by MoS MEA Rajkumar Ranjan Singh.The evacuation took under the Government’s ‘Mission Ajay’ under which it has decided to safely airlift all the stranded Indians in Israel. According to estimates, there are around 18,000 Indian citizens in Israel. MEA has also set up a 24-hour Control Room to monitor the ongoing situation.Hamas launched a "surprise attack" on Israel on Oct 07, firing a barrage of rockets into the parts of the country, after Israel declared war on Hamas. Till now, more than 2,500 people have lost their lives in the conflict.
