Paris (France), May 13 (ANI): Knife-wielding assailant killed one person and wounded four others in Paris on Saturday before he was shot dead by police. People fled along Paris streets, Saturday night, after a knife attack in a central part of the city. According to authorities the accused was shouting 'Allah Akbar' while attacking the people. Islamic State claimed responsibility for Saturday's attack, but did not provide proof for its claim. France has been on high alert in recent years, after a series of attacks commissioned or inspired by the Islamic State militant group, including the 2015 assault on the Bataclan Theatre, where dozens died, just a couple miles away from Saturday's knife attack.
