Officials at SCO headquarters participate in yoga event

Beijing (China), Jun 16 (ANI): Few days ahead of the International Yoga Day, the officials posted at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) headquarters in Beijing, China together practiced various asanas of yoga. The practice was held during a meeting on the sildelines of ongoing SCO summit in the city. Gautam Bambawale, Indian Ambassador to China said, “We are celebrating International Yoga Day in advance today. I am certain that if we practice yoga for 30 minutes every day we will be healthier when we meet here next year.” The International Yoga Day, which is celebrated on June 21, is a three-year-old initiative that has been recognized by the United Nations General Assembly.
