No relief for victims even after 12 years of earthquake in PoK

Muzaffarabad (PoK), Nov 2 (ANI): An estimated $5.4 billion in aid arrived from all around the world, but even after 12 years of the disaster, the victim families have not received any help from the government. The severe earthquake in November 2005 killed over 80,000 people and destroyed property worth millions of dollars. On various occasions, the federal government and their administration have allegedly looted money provided by the international community. Although several journalists and social activists have tried to raise their voices against the blatant corruption in the past but their voices were muzzled. As another winter season is approaching, the earthquake affected families in Pakistan occupied Kashmir have no option but to wait. Even after twelve years their wait seems to have no end.
