Rafah (Egypt), Oct 16 (ANI): Hundreds of Palestinians made their way to the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt on October 16 amid reports that it may be opened to foreigners fleeing the Gaza Strip. There has been a call for a humanitarian ceasefire in order to allow safe passage for aid and those who want to make it out of Gaza. “I came to visit my family, my sister, my brother and just like before the war, I want to spend two weeks with my family here and enjoy. With the war I can’t sleep, a lot of bombs, no water, no food, nothing, no life here, no life. I don’t know what they’re thinking about people all over the world. In the Gaza Strip in Palestine, this is like, they think it’s not people here. There are people here. There are people here living. It’s not a life,” said Zakariya Al Araisha, a resident of Michigan in the US.
