No freedom of expression in PoK, terror hideouts intact: Activists slam Pakistan at UN

Geneva, Switzerland (ANI) March 22: Political activists from PoK lambasted Pakistan govt for curbing freedom of expression and giving free hand to terror outfits. The accusations were made during an event at the 52nd Session of Human Rights Council in Geneva on Mar 22. Chairman of UKPNP, Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri while referring to atrocities in PoK highlighted how Pak is ‘soft on terror.’ Echoing Shaukat Ali, UKPNP’s Foreign Affairs Secretary Jamil Maqsood claimed the situation in PoK is “very alarming.” The event titled “Freedom of Expression” was organised by the United Kashmir People’s National Party. The aim of the event was to focus on the importance of protecting the right to freedom of expression, especially in today’s world.
