Christchurch (New Zealand), Mar 21 (ANI): New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced ban on weapons in the wake of shooting at twin mosques in Chirtchurch. She said, “New Zealand will ban all military style semi automatic weapons, we will also ban all assault rifles, all high capacity magazines and parts with the ability to convert firearms into a military-style semi-automatic weapon.” Twin mosque terror attack in Christchurch killed 50 people. The gruesome act was carried out by gunman under a span of 36 minutes during the Friday prayers.
