Netanyahu vows ‘forceful response’ against Hezbollah’s strikes amid raging Middle East conflict

New Delhi, November 04 (ANI): Amid raging West Asia conflict, Israeli PM Netanyahu made a threatening statement against Hezbollah. Netanyahu on Nov 03 said that Hezbollah must be pushed back beyond the Litani river, with or without a ceasefire deal. The Israeli PM also stated that the Iran-backed group must be prevented from striking or rearming. The statement from Netanyahu during his visit to the border with Lebanon which is roughly 30 km from river Litani. Notably, the US deployed B-52 Stratofortress bombers in the Middle East, CENTCOM announced on ‘X’. The landing of B-52 bombers' in CENTCOM region comes as Israel ready itself for an anticipated Iranian attack. The Pentagon on Nov 01 also confirmed that the deployment of strategic warfare to continue throughout coming months. As per TJP, US also warned Tehran to ‘avoid strikes or face unrestrained Israeli retaliation’ on Nov 02. The warning from USA came after Iran threatened Israel with a 'crushing response' in retaliation to IDF’s Oct 26 strike. The tension in West Asia has been escalating since the outbreak of the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct 07, 2023.
