Nepal's Janakpur prepares to welcome Indian PM Modi

Janakpur (Nepal), May 4 (ANI): Nepal's historical and ancient city of Janakpur has revamped the preparations to welcome Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week. The leaders and the ministers of Nepal's Province no. 2 on Thursday came onto street sweeping and cleaning the streets ahead of Prime Minister Modi's two-day visit. Likewise, Rashtriya Janata Party- Nepal's leaders and the Chief Minister of Province No. 2 headed to streets on Thursday to clean off the roads in Janakpurdham. All local and government authorities have been actively involved in making necessary preparations for the visit. Furthermore, Indian envoy to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri on Wednesday toured the area and surveyed the preparations and preparedness to welcome the head of the neighbouring country. Along with the temple visit, the Nepal government is expecting Indian Prime Minister to address the people present in the ground during a felicitation ceremony. Modi is scheduled to visit the Ram Janaki Temple in Kanakpur on May 11.
