Nepali Lawmaker Alleges Arrest of Two Nepali Citizens by Tibetan Security Officials

Kathmandu (Nepal), June 15 (ANI): A Nepali Congress lawmaker has claimed that Tibetan security officials have detained two Nepali citizens. Opposition lawmaker Rajendra Bajgain brought up the arrest of the two Nepali nationals from Northern Gorkha during a parliamentary meeting and demanded a response from the government. According to Bajgain, the two Nepalis, Rapke Lama and Karma Cheden Lama, were summoned to the Tibetan side by security officials, and their whereabouts remain unknown. Furthermore, the lawmaker also took to social media to raise the issue of the arbitrary arrest of Nepali nationals on allegations of assisting Tibetans in fleeing. Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and local authorities have not yet responded to the matter.
