Nepal set to inaugurate South Asian Games

Kathmandu (Nepal), Dec 01 (ANI): 13th edition of South Asian Games will be inaugurated by Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari today. 10-day-long sporting event is expected to be inaugurated at 5 pm. Welcome gates for inaugural ceremony have been set in various locations around Kathmandu. Preparations for event are yet to be completed as infrastructural work at Dasaratha Rangasala Stadium was finished recently. Cleaning of premises is underway, whereas the stage is yet to be set-up for the VVIP's inauguration. Nepal will finally flag off the tournament, which was delayed three times due to leftover infrastructural work. 3000 players from 7 countries will compete for 324 gold medals and silver medals.
