Nepal rainstorm: Death toll rises to 35, rescue operations underway

Bara/ Birgunj (Nepal), Apr 01 (ANI): Atleast 35 people have died and more than 400 have been injured in rainstorms in Nepal. Over 100 Army personnel have been deployed in the affected areas. The security forces are on high alert and two MI 17 helicopters have been kept in standby for deployment in case of emergency. Rescue operations are underway and people injured during the rainstorm have been safely shifted to a hospital in Birgunj.
