Kathmandu (Nepal), April 26 (ANI): Nepal President Ramchandra Paudel welcomed the Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, alongside Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha. According to officials at the secretariat of the Nepalese President, Paudel urged the Emir to facilitate the release of Bipin Joshi, a Nepalese student who is feared to be in the captivity of Hamas terrorists since the horrific terror attacks on southern Israel, on October 7 last year. In response, the Emir pledged further efforts for the release of Joshi. Over 49 students of Sudurpaschim University, studying agriculture science, had gone to Israel under the 'Learn and Earn' program just a month before the attack. All students, barring Joshi, were repatriated soon after the attack.
