Kathmandu (Nepal), Nov 9 (ANI): The Chief Observer of European Union’s Election Observation Mission, Zeljana Zovko hailed Nepal’s efforts to hold the parliamentary and provincial elections shortly after the local polls. The mission has deployed a team of 38 long term observers (LTOs) to different parts of Nepal who will observe the ongoing polls preparations and other logistic tasks. The general elections are scheduled to be held on November 26 and December 7. A total of 825 representatives are contesting the elections. As per the new Constitution of Nepal, local, provincial and parliamentary elections need to be completed by January 21.
