Bhaktapur/ Chitwan (Nepal), Feb 05 (ANI): Nepal’s opposition Nepali Congress (NC) party on Monday took to the streets protesting against the government. The main opposition claimed the activities of the government were against the interest of the public. The opposition claimed that the anti-government protest rallies were organized in all the 77 districts of the country. The opposition blamed the government of marching against the will of the Constitution; defying it, playing role in consolidating corruption, rape and crime, hefty hike in the market price, tax burden and bad governance. It also protested against government’s step of endorsing the National Medical Education Bill which was endorsed despite the protest and the objection. The central committee meeting of the Opposition Nepali Congress last month decided to organize demonstrations against the government.
