Kathmandu (Nepal), June 18 (ANI): In a strong show of solidarity for peace, Nepali activists staged a peaceful protest outside the Israeli Embassy and the Iranian Consulate in Kathmandu, calling on both nations to de-escalate the growing conflict. Organised by the Human Rights and Peace Society, the demonstration saw nearly two dozen participants line the road connecting both diplomatic missions. Protesters carried banners and placards urging restraint and an immediate end to hostilities in the West Asia region. The group expressed concern over the humanitarian impact of continued aggression, stressing that dialogue and diplomacy must prevail over war. Their appeal echoed calls for global peace.
