Kathmandu (Nepal), Feb 09 (ANI): Nepal’s Election Commission has started dispatching ballot boxes and election materials to remote and mountainous districts as preparations intensify for the March 5 parliamentary polls. Officials at the Kathmandu headquarters are sorting, counting, and sending supplies to ensure timely delivery across hard-to-reach regions. More than 20.32 million ballot papers are being printed for 165 constituencies under the FPTP system. Packing is complete in 37 districts, including Dolpa, Humla, Jumla, and Mugu, aiming for smooth, transparent, and organised voting nationwide.
