NEC provides security system at Asian games

Jakarta (Indonesia), Aug 30 (ANI): “Asian Games” is one of the world's largest multi-sport events held every four years since 1954. This year’s games mark the second time that Indonesia has hosted Asian Games. More than 16,000 Athletes from 45 Asian countries are participating in the event. For this time, NEC Indonesia has become supporting sponsor and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) security system partner for the games. NEC Indonesia established in 1968 has long-term relationship with Indonesian market. Since Asian Games 1962 which was hosted for the first time in Jakarta, NEC has been providing ICT solutions, aiming to leverage on ICT to provide reliable network system, make enterprise more efficient and productive, and also make cities smarter and safer. Moreover, it is contributing to create better society and improve people's lives in Indonesia. In Asian Games 2018, there are many scenes where NEC supports INASGOC's (Indonesia Asian Games 2018 Organizing Committee) effort and management for the Games to realize smart, safe and efficient environment, both for athletes and guests, through the provision of innovative venue ICT solutions, including network infrastructure and surveillance systems. In this event, NEC proudly shows that it is great to play supporting role for athletes and audiences by providing comfortable environment for them, as well as enhancing fan experiences using ICT technology. Behind the scenes of this big event, there are many efforts and contributions by Japanese technologies that continue to support realizing brighter and more sustainable world.
