Tokyo (Japan), Nov 21 (ANI): NEC Corporation recently held event to introduce latest technology in Tokyo. NEC's biometric technology is known as an advanced security technology. The event concept was “future life by authentication technology". Visitor experienced service using face recognition technology under the theme of travel. By setting an individual preference and travel date and face recognition, visitor can book hotel, travel, meal, and various appointments and receive AI technology suggestion. At unmanned convenience stores, customers can shop and pay by face recognition technology. The system can also help in prevention of theft and crime at the store. This is authentication technology by a part of the face, not a face. The camera installed on the back of the mirror analyzes the eye of walking person. It is Iris authentication. NEC also introduced a drone type car on an experiment basis. By utilizing a drone technology, people can ride. There are many challenges in building a society where people can take advantage of digital convenience with peace of mind. Future lifestyle image of NEC, a pioneer in biometric technology, makes people's life more convenient, along with security measure.
