New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): NBC News fired popular ‘Today’ show host Matt Lauer after an employee filed a complaint about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace. The "Today" show is one of the most profitable and popular franchises on American television. Lauer was the cornerstone of the program for two decades. Lauer interviewed many prominent persons and he has tremendous fan following. Last year, he signed a new contract with the network worth a reported $20m (£15m) per year. Lauer is the latest high-profile man in media to be brought down by allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior.
