Vienna (Austria), Jan 02 (ANI): Reiterating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘not an era of war’ remark and expressing India’s concerns over the Russia and Ukraine situation, Union External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on January 02 in Vienna at a joint Press Conference with Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, informed that PM Modi has been in contact with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine. Calling India anxious, the Union Minister also expressed India’s concerns over the ‘knock on effects’ of the conflict in terms of accessibility and affordability of food and fertilizers. “India remains deeply concerned, this is not an era of war. Differences must be settled on the negotiation table. My PM has been in the contact with both the nations. We are also increasingly anxious about the ‘knock on effects’ of the conflict in terms of accessibility and affordability of food and fertilizers,” he said.
