Moscow (Russia), Nov 10, 2021, (ANI): Researchers at Moscow State University have developed the first walking robot in Russia. Weighing about 15 kilograms, this robot understands several commands, with no verbal communication. However, the machine gets up without any assistance. Moscow University has enlisted itself among the teams from USA, China and Europe to create such robotic technology. The team involved in creating the robot took over a year to make the robot's paw and drives, which was achieved after several attempts. The brain of the machine is a mini-format personal computer while the rest of the electronics are of their own development. The creators of the robot are satisfied with the result, looking forward to upgrading the machine where mechanical components stability, control reliability will get better. Engineers will also improve handling and add connectors for remote controls. A mechanical horse is in one of the options for new developments.
