Moscow: GES-2 House of Culture Opens a New Era in Art

Moscow (Russia), Feb 15, 2022, (ANI): These actors here are reshooting the Culttv Series- Santa Barbara, where all scenes are filmed in one take. Camera, Lights focusing on this beautiful set making the actors performance powerful right in front of the visitors of the GES-2 House of Culture. A new art space has been opened in Moscow in December. The first season will run until the 13 of March. It was opened in Moscow on the site of an old power plant GES-2. In addition to living sculpture, guests can enjoy the "To Moscow! To Moscow to Moscow!" exhibition. Creative life is in full swing on 36, 000 square meters where people come to GES-2 not only for the art, but for socialising. GES-2 is not basically a museum or a gallery, but a house of culture. The art space was opened on the site of an old power plant. The Neo-Russian style building was built on Bolotny Island in 1907. The Statue power plant was launched to supply tram lines with electric current. In 2006, it was closed due to physical deterioration and the high cost of electricity it produced.In 2015, the building was bought by entrepreneur leonid mikhelson.The "ges-2 house of culture" became the first project in russia for renzo piano's architectural bureau. He's the author of the pompidou centre in paris. Green Energy also works on the roof of the building. Solar panels offset up to 10 percent of energy consumption. Ges-2 continues to function, and now its main task is to produce the energy of culture.
