Stockholm (Sweden), May 13 (ANI): Dr S Jaishankar, who is in Sweden for the EU-Indo-Pacific Ministerial Meeting, decoded the key to achieving the "multi-polar" world preferred by the European Union by highlighting the need for a bridge between the Indo-Pacific and the European Union. Speaking at the International Forum, the diplomat said that, “The more the European Union and Indo-Pacific deal with each other, the stronger will be their respective appreciation of multipolarity. A multi-polar world, which the EU prefers, is feasible only in multi-polar Asia. There may be historic cultural divergences, but at the end of the day, we are political democracies, market economies, and pluralist societies. Transformation underway in India, like digital public delivery of the green growth initiative, certainly merits the EU’s attention. India is also rapidly expanding its global footprint and will interact with the EU more in the coming years.”
