Money laundering, terrorism funding to be discussed in East Asia Summit: Indian envoy to Philippines

Manila (Philippines), Nov 12 (ANI): Indian Ambassador to Philippines, Jaideep Mazumdar, on Sunday said money laundering, terrorism funding are some of the important topics to be discussed during the East Asia Summit. This is the first time Prime Minister of India is visiting Philippines and it will be the first substantive meeting between him and Philippines’ President. Talking about the significance of this visit, Mazumdar informed Philippines is the 12th largest country in the world in terms of population and is one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
