Models sashayed the ramp donning ‘Khadi’ outfits

Kathmandu (Nepal), Nov 11 (ANI): Temperature of Kathmandu soared Friday evening as the models wearing Khadi clothes took the ramp. Continuing the Gandhi legacy, designers of both India and Nepal are trying their level best to keep up this Khadi tradition. The fashion show was organized by South Asia foundation. The fashion show, which showcased dresses made from Khadi, bearing ancient significance, drew the attention of the viewers. Apart from this, lively music resonated the venue as the models walked down the ramp in stunning traditional outfits with embellishments, embroidery, and gold appliqué work. The Khadi Fashion show also is the part of the ongoing India- Nepal Folk Crafts Festival, which will be concluding on Saturday.
