New Delhi, Aug 20 (ANI): United States Secretary of State Michael Pompeo is likely to visit Pakistan to hold talks with newly-elected Prime Minister Imran Khan. He is expected to visit Islamabad in the first week of September. Pompeo would be the first foreign dignitary to meet Imran Khan. Imran Khan on August 18 sworn-in as Pakistan’s 22nd Prime Minister in Islamabad. On Pakistan’s Independence Day, Pompeo, in a special message said that he wishes to improve and bolster bilateral relations between the two countries.
