New Delhi, May 12 (ANI): Political crisis has worsened in Pakistan as protests over former PM Imran Khan’s arrest turned violent. PTI fiercely denounced Imran’s arrest and urged people to protest the "rising fascism" by taking to the streets. As Imran Khan’s supporters went on a rampage, several military installations were targeted and torched. As unrest jolted Pakistan, PM Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing a cabinet meeting, recalled 1971 Indo-Pak war. Considering the destruction after Imran Khan’s arrest, PM Sharif compared the prevailing situation with that of fall of Dhaka. Remembering the war which split Pakistan in 1971, Shehbaz Sharif said that “no food was cooked in crores of houses”. Earlier, Khan’s arrest triggered arson, vandalism and clashes as anguished PTI supporters took to streets. Army troops have been deployed in Pakistan’s Punjab province to maintain law and order, Dawn reported. After days of violence, Imran was granted two-week bail by Pak Supreme Court in the Al-Qadir Trust case, reported the Dawn
