Male (Maldives), Feb 04 (ANI): Maldives’ Joint Opposition Spokesperson Ahmed Mahloof on Sunday said that when he and other leaders went to Parliamentary Board Meeting, they were blocked by security forces. Mahloof said that they were manhandled by the forces every time since the battle of Parliament in July last year. “Today, we went to the Parliamentary Board Meeting and were blocked by forces. Some of us climbed over gates to get in & helped others. This isn't first. Since battle of Parliament in July last year, we always get pepper sprayed and dragged out,” Mahloof said. Earlier today, 12 reinstated MPs entered the Parliament despite heavy military deployment. The military forces had blocked MPs' entry into the premises. Despite Parliament seizure by the military, some MPs managed to enter into the premises and then opened gate for others.
