Maldives on boil: Massive protest in Male against President Yameen

Male (Maldives), Feb 04 (ANI): A massive protest broke out in Maldives capital Male against President Yameen, breakdown is imminent. Huge crowd gathered after Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed rejected review petition filed on behalf of government by Prosecutor General and said the government should implement the order first before seeking review. CJ Abdulla Saeed has claimed he has been getting anonymous threat calls so he along with judge Ali Hameed and judicial administrator Hassan Saeed would be spending night in court. Armed forces and the police have barricaded the SC's premises in Male and a showdown is expected anytime.
