Bristol (United Kingdom), Aug 23 (ANI): Mahatma Gandhi’s gold-rimmed glasses were sold for Rs 2.5 crore (£260,000) in an auction in United Kingdom’s Bristol. “The gold coloured wire spectacles were handed into East Bristol Auction house in England's south west by a man whose uncle had been given the glasses by Gandhi during the 1920s,” said auctioneer Andrew Stowe. Memorabilia, will take history buffs to trip down memory lane, reminiscing events of Bapu and India’s freedom struggle.
