Madhesi leader opposes second phase of polls in Nepal

Birgunj (Nepal), Dec 05(ANI): President of the Madheshi Jan Adhikari Forum, Bhagyanath Gupta has called for a poll boycott as Nepal gears up for the second phase of Parliamentary Elections on scheduled December 7. He has blamed the government for not fulfilling demands of Madhesis, especially granting martyr status to those protesters who were killed in police firing. People in Terai region are also demanding amendment in the constitution as they accuse the government of not giving equal rights to the minorities.
