Birgunj (Nepal), Mar 10 (ANI): In a noble effort by a legislator of Region No.2 of Nepal, Ragini Barnawal, has decided to launch a scheme that will benefit young girls in the Madhesh region in getting the proper education. Women living in the village area of the Madhesh region haven’t had access to suitable education for years and to change the wretched circumstances, Barnawal took a stand. Due to lack of education, most women are totally dependent on the male members of the house, giving them the upper hand which in a way encourages patriarchy. Education is the key to become independent and make an identity for oneself in the society, eyeing this Barnawal wants to slowly bring an end to the patriarchal society. Ragini Barnawal has addressed the problem in the Region No.2 Nepal, Government, and Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal and has received a positive feedback.
